What did you use for the defraction spikes...I know some people including me will apply these with software but yours look more like string.

Two lengths of fishing line stretched across the dew shield opening and held in place by sticky electrical tape.

It looks very temporary and it takes less than 5 mins to put the crosshairs on, but so far after 10 sessions I haven't had to repair them. The lens cap goes snuggly over the top and just requires a little care when removing the cap.
