M8 and NGC 6544

Taken at the same dark sky session as the Pleiades, this set of 14 by 10 minute shots actually all worked.

Another 14 by 2 min shots were also processed in PI, but then combined in PShop Elements to minimise the bloom in the centre of the neb. ISO800 with the trusty EOS 40D.

When I was composing, the faint fuzzy to the right intrigued me, it turns out that it's ngc6544, would look great with a longer focal length scope.

Good work - the modified camera is picking up the Ha nicely.
