Inspired by Scott & Paul..My M20 Triffid

Hi gang,

Recently, Scott and Paul posted their marvelous shot of M20 Triffid Nebula showing plenty of the blue region. Both used only the IR/UV filter without the UHC-S. "Trying" to follow their footsteps i too gave it a go with just the IR/UV filter. I also did a layered mask but somehow it didn't lined up properly in photoshop so the core is abit burned out. Neverless nothing like theirs but it sure showed more blue region than previous M20's which i have imaged.

consist of 12 x 4 minutes autoguided shot with the DSI II.

Hope you guys like it

Cheers.

Great work there, theres even subtle changes in colour in the centre of the red nebulosity showing oxygen III emissions, and faint blue nebulosity can be seen running up both sides of the red.
