Talking Abell 39

Hi everybody,
So during July I had done some shots in 2 nights with my Takahashi refractor on this beautiful PN. For this image there is 16 x 900s in Ha + 7 x 1200s in OIII:

That is beautiful. It almost looks like a plankton floating in the depths of the ocean.

Sorry, noob here, but is that actually a nebula? How does it look perfectly like a ring?

It's almost perfectly spherical, which is admittedly unusual. It looks circular because the edges are denser from our line of sight here on Earth. If you look closely you can see it is actually green all over, not just at its rim.
