last nights JUPITER Antics - 21st Aug

Hi All, decided to have a go at some of the Jupiter transit action last night. Seeing was pretty appallling... 2-3/10, and it shows! Ah well, at least I capture some of the action with the two spots visible, one moon emerging from transit and the shadow just commencing transit. Proof that it happened but little else

Nice work Rob, given the conditions. The colour you're ending up with now is definitely getting better.

Well done.

Great capture none-the-less Robert; you're really mastering that new set up now, to be able to squeeze such fine images from the horrible seeing.

Cheers

Thanks Guys, every shot now is a bonus. I'm in the same boat as Mike, though I think my imaging window might be even narrower. I've squeezed an extra half hour by moving my scope the other side of the dog-fence (the dog's not happy!)
