EQ8 Celestron ASCOM driver problem?
Last few nights I was testing EQ8 with Celestron ASCOM driver (for Skywatcher mounts) with MaximDL and there are some (odd) problems I couldn't explain.
1. In virtual HC screen L,U and D buttons work correctly but R button can slew only with 4x (low) speed.
2. I was unable to sync to some star, mount (or driver) seams not to be able to receive new coordinates. Procedure is this: I slew to Arcturus, center it in camera crosshair, then sync to Arcturus, then slew to Arcturus again and after that Arcturus is nowhere to be seen... Mount is correctly polar aligned.
3. Pinpoint also does not work probably for the same reason, also framing with plate solving.
All parameters needed (for ASCOM driver and Pinpoint) are correctly entered.
I used CGEM before and had no such problems.
Any ideas?
Should I try EQASCOM instead?
