Couldn't help myself. Had to go back and see how much more dust I could dig out. I decided to use some of Rogelio's tricks to accentuate it. Unfortuntately for the keen eyes, it also exaggerates the vignetting.

Anyway, here 'tis alongside the previous version.

Yeah, nice work ...dunno which I prefer though as I do like the bold star field ...but both are good.

Thanks mate. Personal taste, I suppose. Must admit, at web viewing scales I like the reduced star version. But at 100% I just noticed it's a bit ugly with artefacts from the star reduction and the original is better.

Here's some 1920px versions, and a mosaic of the corners, edges and middle using the PI script AberrationInspector:

Original: 1920px, corners at 100%
Reduced stars: 1920px, corners at 100%.

Sure is, hey. I hadn't thought about it til I attempted these - that reducing the stars makes such a difference in making the nebulosity and dust more visible.
