Why no Waratahs Thread?
I can not believe that I have to start a Tah's thread from the USA...what is the world coming to? The first Grand Final appearance in Sydney and no "love" from the Astro community...Let's go Tahs!

it's not formula one .. rugby in any form nor cricket nor supercars is appreciated.
I don't follow union but that's the reason why .. only the elite care about "sports" and I'm far from elite .. bor do I care to write about it haha

Scott,
AS an ex Golden Oldies Union player I'll jump into this thread... it will be great to see the 'Tahs get up and win although they'll have their work cut out for them against the Crusaders.
I believe they're hoping for a crowd of above 60,000 at the Olympic stadium on Saturday night which would be fantastic for Union in Sydney. I think the turning point for the 'Tahs over the last couple of seasons would have to have been the addition of Israel Folau - the way he can break the line at speed is phenomenal!
Anyway, although I live up here in Brisbane, my sporting heart is still, and always will be, in NSW, so I desperately hope that the 'Tahs can get up and win!!
Cheers,
Mario

Yeh, go the Tahs!!! I think any Ozzie union fans would support the Tahs against any kiwi side - just as I supported the Reds and Brumbies when they made the finals. Wish it was on free to air. Yes, Folau is a great talent but the improvement has been across the paddock and for that I think the coach deserves major praise.
After that, bring on the test series!

And both the Kiwis and the Aussies will support the other against Sth Africa ...
Sorry guys but, Go The Crusaders !!
( nothing like a bit of friendly transTasman rivalry )
I actually prefer NRL myself ....

Just what you want. A huge crowd, a great game and the right result! Now, can we finally beat the ABs ?

For those who couldn't be at the game and don't have pay-through-the-nose Foxtel it didn't happen.
Good thing the score came out the right way round.
