Hi All, I'm starting to crowd the side fence to gain a bit more Jupiter window... last night the seeing shortly after sunset was 4-5/10 for a half hour... by 7pm it went to 2/10. Here's one of the better ones. Pretty happy with it for this late stage in the season and unless something special happens seeing-wise in the next couple of weeks reckon this might be my last hurrah!
Wish I had this flip mirror and 2x Vixen barlow earlier in the season - both are excellent!!!
Very nice. The seeing did pick up around midnight, but by then Jupiter had more or less gone to bed. I just processed my ToUcam avi of around 8:00pm and it was a shocker! Won't be posting it next to your great image!
Yep that is another very nice capture. Interesting to hear you say about the seeing deteriating soon after sunset. I have been experiencing that for the last month, and don't really know what to put it down to.

Thanks Guys.
Lester I reckon it has to do with the speed of temp change... just after sunset there is a sharp drop, this culd be effecting the seeing or it could just creat a lag between mirror temp and the atmosphere
