Jetstream blasted joop (11th aug)

You get used to the jetstream after awhile may as well 'cos theres nothing to be done when it's here, except NOT shoot! Stuff it, I'll just make out it's not here & maybe it'll go away

2 taken with the 900nc one with the 840K Yeah, ya gotta guess, lol.

Hi Asi,

Nice effort, looks like in the first one that Junior is growing in size. Will have to check it when conditions improve.

Just looked on the predicted jetstream map for this week and its gunna get worse before it gets better. Like jetstream to the Max by middle of the week.

Hi Asimov

Gee, you are one determined dude! Your continuing Jupiter posts motivated me to get out last night and dust off the ToUcam (literally as I had left it uncovered in my woodworking den ) and it was nice to see the GRS again.

The seeing wasn't up to much but I decided to stay out for the Moon and lo and behold, as she hauled herself out of the east, the seeing seemed to gradually improve so I managed to grab some lunar avi's as well.

Thanks for the continuing motivational posts.

Cheers

Dennis

Go Asi, what can one do but keep on plugging... and pretty soon we'll be wishing for even a Jetstreamed joop. I've given up looking at the Jetstream map. Given up hoping Brisbane will ever get a bit of grey... settle for some dark blue. Anyway, managed to get a couple of avis with not so bad seeing last night before it went to total rubbish. Will post soon.

cheers,

Thanks guys. Yes as most have noticed theres an interesting trend forming.

I kid you not, Just after sundown (before these shots were taken)I saw a 10/10!! But I was using the old laptop & Daves BUNNIE INFESTED 840K just to preview the situation....

By the time I raced in side, got the big lappy & my 900nc plugged in it was bloody gone! Back to a 2/10..

I was livid I can tell ya! Anyhow, the opportunity went begging (AAAARRRRHHHH!!)

Dave!?.....I'm comin' ta getchya! GRRRRRR! > <
