After realizing that it doesn't get much use, if at all, since I've bought STL-11000M, my one-shot-color choice camera, a venerable QHY-8 is offered for sale.
It contains everything in the picture, plus latest ASCOM and native drivers. That is :
- QHY-8 with dessicant system, always kept in the hermetic box after use;
- a spare nosepiece with a clear (not UVIR) window (allows more light if your scope is all reflective, for refractors UVIR filter is a must);
- a streamlined cable system (bundled, just one cable goes to the camera);
- custom machined spacer with T thread (for that perfect 55mm distance - works with Paracorr, MPCC, most refractor reducers and flatteners).
Price $1000 ono, posted anywhere in Oz. All of the pictures seen in my ad for a 10" Dob/astrograph have been taken with this camera. A few more, done with different instruments but the same QHY8 have been added here.
