Do you know if the bolt spacing is the same as the current CPC mounts?

Don't know if the same as CPC. Will measure and post spacing later today.

Terrific, if you can measure the distance between hole centres of the bottom two holes of the plate where the scope base sits I can take my scope off the tripod and measure between two of the three and see how it compares. I am pretty sure they are the same.

Distance between scope base holes is 14.2 cm.
Distance of tripod mount holes is 6.5 cm from centre, about 11cm apart from each other.

Thanks, I will measure my mount tonight. I am pretty sure they are all the same. So long as my CPC base will go on it, it is fine. It will be going on a pier so I can make the pier plate up to suit.

Damn. I don't think it will fit the late CPC like mine. The bolt PCD is the same but that wedge has the bottom of the mount plate between the sides of the wedge and the CPC mount base overhangs there.

Hi Paul,
Thought the CPC base might be to big.
Cheers.
Andrew.

It is a pity, I could probably get an adapter ring machined up to raise the mount base away from the wedge but after the cost of that it probably defeats the purpose of buying something off the shelf and might challenge the rigidity of the wedge too.
