Storm Chasers

I came across this on the TED site and thought it worth sharing. The photos are particularly facinating (IMHO). It ought to interest a few people, especially Bob (astronobob).

Do You Speak Storm-Chasing?

Spectacular photos, some of them.
Others are quite interesting.

I have to go back to the States in summer some time. My Son returns to Alabama in August, from Germany. That will give me an opportunity.

So far both trips I have done in the past to the US has been in winter.
Summer is the time for storms and my Son has informed me that they have some real freaky ones sometimes.

Back to the photos. Thanks for sharing that. I enjoyed them.

Cheers
