




Oh well thanks for the responses, as i thought, you can't expect a digital cam, to do the doggy paddle and come out smiling
I am almost resolved to its permanent coma, spare parts stock.
It took a while for me to fumble around in the dark, to remove the battery, so most likely it has burnt out tracks and destroyed other components.
I will make some phone calls to see where to go from here.
I did salvage the cf card, not a drop of water, or in the battery compartment, most of the water entered through the remote terminal area.
This is the second last shot ever from my trusty old 350d, don't think i could sell for enough to replace the camera.
Was that $1000 Tony whoohoo all is not lost.
