The book is superb condition, apart from a very small indentation on the edge of the front cover, probably caused by a packing strap at some stage.
I purchased it new from Amazon, unfortunately it did not come with the external cover. For protection, I had it covered it with thick brown paper (now removed), just like an old fashioned text book.
This book is a must-have for amateur astronomers, crammed as it is with the best information for southern latitudes. I found it perfect for planning observing sessions, and delighted in being able to compare my observations with those recorded in the book.
A great book, and exceptional resource, with simply grouse colour plates.
