Eta Carina Nebula - an old favourite

Still having fun with the new ED100 refractor. It's been a while since I've imaged Eta so thought I'd try the ED100 on it. Tried to get a balance of reds and blues. How's it look?

Skywatcher BD ED100, Orion 0.8X reducer, Baader UV / IR cut, 86 x 1 minute lights, 20 darks, 50 flats, unguided at ISO 1600, unmodified Pentax K-x, scope poked out the dining room window.

Bigger at Astrobin.

Wow that's a stunner! Much deeper than most. 85 subs. You must get RSI pre processing that many files. But hey, it's worth it.
Great job!

Thanks Bruce. The only thing I don't like about it is some of the stars have dark rings around them. A processing artifact at some step. The nebula came out better than expected.
