M8 Lagoon Nebula

Hi all, this is a cropped version of M8. 25 x 2 minutes due to cloud and aircraft streaks across 5 other subs.
Advice welcomed as always.
Bruce.

Nice job Bruce; might I suggest just a little more colour saturation; I
think it would lift the image.

Pretty good image there.

Possibly the white and black points are being clipped. If you give it a reprocess at some point make sure the histogram barely touches the black and white edges.

Thanks Raymo. I will try to get some more colour boost next session.

Hi Cam, I will check for black clipping again in Gimp tomorrow night. The image was largely processed in Star Tools so clipping is less likely (the software shouldn't let the novice like me ruin the image) that's one reason why I bought it.
Maybe the tweaks I gave it in Gimp pushed it over the edge.
Cheers, Bruce.
