HI All,
Just received my 1st scope, saxon ed 120, and mount azeq6, fumbling my way through but slowly getting there. Does any one know how i could connect the mount to my macbook ( no serial port ) so i can use planetariums such as Stellarium or Sky view. Also does the Sky X work on my mount.

It truly puzzles me why manufacturers haven't moved over to usb like the rest of civilization.
Fortunately there are usb to serial cables you can get.

you need something like this http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=XC4834 or you could purchase a wireless setup (see ice in space classifieds).
