Telescope Hire

Hi Folks,

I am from California and will be visiting Adelaide in late July around the new moon timeframe. I was wondering if it was possible to rent a telescope in the South Australia area. I am planning on visiting the Arkaroola area to visit their observatories and wouldn't mind having a scope of my own for a few nights. My scope is way too big to ship to Oz.

Any ideas?

You could try Googling for an Astronomical Society or club in The Adelaide area. Club members are usually keen to help out visitors.
