Late model (EF series) lenses from the film era fit the digital Canons, but not necessarily in the reverse. I'm not sure how it will work but you might be able to get an OM to "T"thread adapter that will screw into the standar "T" ring. Reaching focus might be a bit tricky though.

Depends on the brand of camera. Nikon have used the same mount for donkeys, so are usually compatible with newer DSLR camera bodies. Not sure about other brands though.

I'm looking to buy leon's Pentax ist-D DSLR which accepts older Pentax K and screw mount via an adaptor.
My advice is to PM leon - he's a lens guru!!
Cheers

Adapters can be found on ebay for about $15, I used this method to get a couple of nice cheap prime (Pentax) lenses for use on my 20d for astro work. You have to take some care to ensure that focus can be reached and, in my case, I had to insulate the adapter to prevent the auto everything contacts getting shorted and confusing the camera.

I'm with John Mick, I use a Pentax M42 adaptor to fit the front of the 20D, so the same will apply to your 350D.
I am sure that Olympus lenses to Canon (EF) bodies is possible. E Bay is the way.

Here is a list of most camera register distances. If the lens you want to adapt has a larger register distance than the camera you want to fit it to, an adapter is possible.
