Pony Club Sat 24th May

Any takers for this weekend?

I know that Bretti is on for the following week, but there is a fair-to-good chance that I may not be able to make it.

So ... I may look to head up to the PC this Saturday night.

If anybody else is interested, please let me know.

As usual, weather permitting!

Hi Neil,

If you like, we can always convoy out there. Probably meet up somewhere around the Warnervale Aerodrome, or the Caltex on the freeway southbound.

The more the merrier.

My app says the moon will be under 20%, and not rising until around 2am Sunday morning.

It should be good viewing throughout the evening, providing the weather plays nice.

If you need some help, dumping some jobs down at the tip ....

Maybe that will help clear your schedule!

If the clouds keep away, I may drop in on the way back from The Entrance.

I'm dead keen for some dark skies but have a tennis comp for my son on Saturday night. The following weekend should be just as good.

Unfortunately, it looks like the clouds are closing in.

I think it might be a case of waiting for another week, I'm afraid.

A shame you guys had cloudage. I was at SPSP - just back home this afternoon. We were lucky to have good conditions on Thursday and Friday nights, but no so good last night (Sat) for us either, just 90 minutes of good observing before things went pear-shaped. See you all soon.

It actually rained at home on Saturday night.

I recall hearing the water hit the roof, thinking that it was a good thing I stayed at home!

Maybe this weekend (rain is forecast, of course, atm).
