Better DMK JUPITER also from 30th July

Hi All, well it seems the first avi from Sunday night was quite a bit better than the one I posted yesterday. I've attached it here along with the B&W views for each colour channel. I like this presentation as it's amazing the different detail that each colour picks up that is missed or swamped in the RGB. Still need to work on colour balance, but I'm pretty happy with this for 4/10 seeing.

Thanks Guys,

It's been easier to get underway that I thought (touch wood). Actually once you've become accustomed to running BMPs separate RGB splitsand PPM centre routines with the Toucam avis it's not much of a jump really to mono camera and filter wheel use - in fact it skips the R,G,B split step ...

Just took delivery too of a flip mirror which I hope to try out tonight.

might be the best I get for a while, last night's seeing was terrible... at least the flip mirror got a try-out and works well!
