Saturn B/W Mintron

with Saturn coming l thought l would get a head start with processing some avi's from last year taken with the Sac Mintron b/w camera.
LX 200 @ F/10
approx 200 frames stacked in Registax and slight processing in Paint Shop Pro.

The image scale is huge! Is that the natural size or reprocessed? I think it would look better downsized a bit.

I'm looking forward to getting stuck into Saturn again this year and early next year, but at a max of 40° altitude it's not going to be terribly pretty.

Nice job on the image!

Wow. Image scale to the max! What is the chip and pixel size Mick? Glad to see Saturn turn up to put a break in the Jupiter reign

Well according to SN Saturn will go into conjunction on or around the 7th Aug so not long after that we'll start to see it in the morning, for those seriously sad people that find their bed too uncomfortable from around 4:00 am onwards . Of course it won't reach a respectable time til around Feb 12th for opposition
