Hello everyone, I just posted a picture of the central part of the Large Magellanic Cloud including the Tarantula Nebula (NGC2070 or 30 Doradus ) in addition to several other items. The link:
Tarantula Nebula and her neighborhood
The Tarantula Nebula has an incredible diameter of about 1,000 light years and is the largest and most complex region of star formation in our entire local group. If it were placed at the distance of the Orion Nebula (1,500 light years ) it would have an apparent diameter of about 30 degrees! Exciting and unforgettable visually, it is definitely one pf the most popular targets down under, so here I go with my contribution

This area is very rich of objects, I will prepare a detailed map if I find some time, the most prominent objects in my framing beside NGC2070 are the two nebulae with significant contribution of OIII in the upper right corner, i.e. the group of NGC1966 and, closer to the edge, DEM L174 with NGC1949.
This image combines LRGB and Narrowband (Ha+OIII) data for a total of nearly 20 hours of exposures.
As usual, highly recommended the full res view, the most spectacular to appreciate the finer details this incredibly rich field ..
Clear skies
