Terrible session ! NGC 3247 HaRGB

Unhappily the clouds didn't give me permission to do my job. Only one light frame !

RGB: ISO 800 - single frame - 240 sec - skeyglow filter
Halfa: ISO 1600 - 5 x 240 sec

No doubt ! Without the Halfa information the photo would be impossible ! The sky was very beautifull ... but the clouds ... those clouds ... I hate them !!!

GSO 305 mm - Canon T3 - RGB: ISO 800 - single frame - 240 sec - skyglow filter - Ha: ISO 1600 - 5 x 240 sec

Nice photo, sorry about the clouds. I've had enough of them also.

Thank you, Kevin. My intention was 20 Halfa and 10 light, both with 240 sec, but only 6 Halfa and 1 light was obtained.

And I want try with Halfa in more ISO. Now, I am working with 1600, but I want experiment with 3200.

In fact, the files Halfa only will serve as better red channel. I have more noise in this channel, and when I process any boost, I amplify these noises, too. If I have more red information, only from the places that have red information ... I don't need to boost this channel with intensity.

Perhaps, it will sound better if I talk R+GB, in spite of HaRGB.

That is my goal. And I hope to be well succeeded. Unhappily the clouds aren't giving me permission !
