Lobster & Catspaw mosaic.

Hi,

First a warning!!

This is not a true mosaic, as I needed to copy and blend a strip of fake sky between the two images.

I will get out and take a proper image to complete mosaic properly. Just excited to preview these two remarkable red nebula's together.

Cheers,

Justin.

Outstanding images Justin! I can actually fit them both in the field of the Ed80. They are on the hit list for my 6 inch as well. But time is running out due to waxing moon.

Thanks Kevin!

Must break out the ED80 too, haven't imaged with it for a while now.
Just like the 8" f/4 astrograph for the reduced imaging time.
Mind you, probably work out the same time wise being able to fit them in the one frame using the ED 80.

Cheers,

Justin.

As I've frequently said, you're an imaging machine Justin! Might not be a true mosaic but it still looks good.

Cheers
