Crux Vers 2 - 60 sec exposures

Thanks for some of the suggestions re. my earlier crux image everyone.

Last night I tried 1 minute exposures, and per everyone's advice, upped the number of shots from 5 to...20.

5 darks. Really pleased with the improvement in the image, I'm stoked!

Thanks Jo, it's only very early days, but it's nice to notice the improvements. Yes, I'm salivating over getting out to a dark sky site! Pretty good results for now, good for practice at least.

Almost had a disaster though, by the last shot the dew was really building up on the lens. I wonder what ppl do in such cases? Other than wipe the stuff off. Not much room for a dew shield on a 50mm lens?
