Lightbulb Reduced: BARSKA Magnus ED 80mm f7 (560mm) APO Triplet Refractor with Hard Case

  • Lens diameter 80mm, Focal length 560mm
  • APO Triplet with retractable dew-shield
  • 2” fully metal Crayford 10:1 focuser with brass compression ring
  • Screws on any camera tripod with no additional accessories.
This a really nice, fully metal scope and perfect visual an astro or daylight photography. No CA on the moon with an ES 4.7mm eyepiece.
  • Noticed once that a brass compression ring screw did over-spin.
  • Front lens has a few minor dust spots on the inside.
Selling OTA with case for $320 plus postage.

To use the scope for visual I'm happy to offer these items (see 1st picture):
  1. 2" to 1.2" adapter (used).
  2. Diagonal 45° 1.25" correct image (used)
  3. Barlow 1.25" x2 with T2 thread (used, lens cap missing)
  4. GSO Super Poessel 6mm (NEW)
  5. GSO Super Poessel 15mm (NEW)
  6. GSO Super Poessel 25mm (NEW)
Add $15 for each item (no postage). 1+2 and 4,5 or 6 are required for visual use.

Also selling a perfectly fitting self-made solar filter (made from new Baader AstroSolar Safety Film, see last picture) for $19 plus postage.

250 views, no interest, interesting.

I guess it's the best value 80mm APO triplet you can get (but maybe I'm wrong). Will keep it here for another few days.

Then it will go on ebay. If you consider buying it, you should do it here, ebay will be more expensive.

Anyhow hope everyone had a HAPPY EASTER and good seeing! Had clear skies and saw the Sombrero Galaxy, Pinwheel Galaxy and Centaurus A Galaxy from my backyard. One night I could see Saturn clearly at x300.
