Scorpius Rises

Found some clear skies on Saturday night, had to drive for 3hrs. Seeing was poor, but the hazy glow of the difused stars was nice.

Thanks for looking

Beautiful photo Carlos. It really captures the effect that Scorpio has of just Hanging Across the Sky. Lovely.

Superb shot. The horizon hills, clouds and stars/milkyway are on the same pattern like pilled up chevrons. Excellent timing and framing. Did you plan it or just got lucky? Must be very hard to know what's going to come out when it's cloudy.

Marc I don't plan except to determine more or less what direction I'm going to take and when I expect to be home, for everything else I use 'The Force'
