Sunset eclipse

Bit of low cloud on the horizon but the sun managed to shine through at the last moment for this parting shot. Saxon 120mm f5 refractor.

I like that one Rick. I was after a shot like that but stayed home due to migraine.

Luckily I didn't have to go far Bucasia to Shoal point waters, but it is hard to find a clear view of the western horizon in Mackay. The low cloud was definitly a bonus but I did have to do a quick shuffle with the camera.

Rick, that low cloud I think makes that photo most appealing. You have 3 elements in there that all work great. I would have preferred a sunsetting eclipse here in the west with the Indian ocean. Well done!

Excellent shot with the cloud, horizon and forground layers Perfect for a setting eclipse

Nicely captured Rick! Looks good on the horizon like that.
