Vela Supernova Remnant - OS Veloce RH200 from Kalahari, Namibia

Hi guys,

Here's a another of the Kalahari (Namibia) desert fruit… One of the main reasons I've made that voyage for the 3rd year in a row :-)
It combines 11:40 hours of SII, OIII, Ha and RGB using the Officina Stellare Veloce scope, at F/3.

There's much to enjoy in this object, and I found it to be interesting on different scales… So, I have posted several versions, varying in size.
I've also posted a screen shot of the image within Aladin SW, showing the exact location of the Vela Pulsar, which has initiated this havoc in the first place… It can be seen at the bottom right side of the image.

I hope you like it, and any comments are, as always, very welcome.

One of the best images of this piece of the Vela SNR I've seen ...the treatment of the filaments is excellent and the colours are superb

Love the halos around those bright stars too, makes the image look like it was done at a pro observatory

Very beautiful Harel, this is indeed my favorite patch of sky of the southern hemisphere and your effort is fantastic, detailed and with colors (IMHO) spot on!
Clear skies
