Judging by the seller's other items, I don't think I'd take a chance on the scope. Also seems to be the earlier version.

New Model ... NA140SS ... Landed at my door was ... $2350.00.

Morton is quite correct ... the one being sold is the ' previous ' version ... NA140SSf ... the ' f ' indicates it was conjointly made in China and Japan.

My ' SS ' Model is wholly Japan made....

Yes that's a great price for a 140mm frak of awesome quality , delivered to your door and Colin if my 127mm Istar was not as good as it was I would be mighty tempted , as like you I am mainly a visual kind of guy .

Brian.

SSF vs SS

Hi Col,
Did you notice a difference between the ssf and the ss you have now?

I'm gonna be ' honest ' here .... if I had ' both ' Scopes to compare .. then I could really answer that question.
What I do know is....My new NA140SS is just superb ... but so was my previous NA140SSf Scope.

So to be fair ... both are excellent Scopes for what they do ... if any difference can be found , it would be ' nit ' picking IMHO ..... you know ... maybe a ever so slightly ' brighter ' image ... but nothing to rave about.

I would still have either Scope anyway ..... but I went and sold my first one. .... then it cost me more to get another ... BUT ...I had to have it.

This is your Model selling on Ebay ... the 2nd one I've seen in 2 days.
