Decent seeing in SEQ, fantastic clarity!

Here's a single cropped and reduced 10 min H-a sub of M83 (still manual focused at f/3.6, and it is SLIGHTLY out)

I also live on the S.C, i went to have a look at mars at around 9:30 but it ws a little blurry.
Apparently on the Skippysky scale the transparency is better than the seeing tonight.
Did you happen to have a look at mars tonight?

This is a mere 2 minute test shot in H-a at f/3.6... this is my dream telescope!!!! Just WOW.

What chuffs me more is finding the right settings in MaxIM to remove all blooms seamlessly BIG relief and it does it 100% better than CCDStack.

Nice image Lewis. I agree these fast scopes are fantastic. Can be a bit tricky to get going but once they are on it opens up so much. Being able to image a number of targets in one night and getting deep results in very little time! Dreamy stuff.

I was out there last night, too! I'm supposed to have my gear moved in two day's time, but, I just couldn't help but spend five hours setting all my gear up in the backyard.

Here's a 30 minute hydrogen alpha guided sub-exposure with the FSQ-106N and STL-11000M.

The Moon was above the horizon at this stage, but, I didn't care.

I've run an erosion filter on it to remove the stars and accentuate the nebula around this beautiful area. This is straight from MaximDL.
