Saturn 18/4/2014

Here is my best attempt at Saturn so far...

Equipment:
Celestron C8
on Skywatcher Heq6 Pro
5x powermate
QHY5L-ii Colour
640x420 BIN2x2
Manually guided
Registax6
Photoshop CS6

Any comments welcome...

Nice indeed! I've got a very similar setup so it gives me something to aim for

Btw, do you see an increase in sensitivity in binned mode? And what was your frame rate?

Yeh. More sensitive when binned.
I believe I had it as 100% gain, 80ms exposure and 1.3 gamma.
It's so dim with 5xpowermate.

I don't know why it's Got a yellow tinge to it though..
