Getting ready for NEAF!

Well it is official, Spring is finally coming to the NorthEast USA! We had our last snow last week and I see nothing but warmer temperatures and clear skies ahead.

A sure confirmation that Spring is coming is NEAF which will be held this coming Saturday and Sunday. I sure am looking forward to seeing all of the gear and the people. It should be another great show!

Now to convince my wife that large cash withdrawal from the bank is in order before Saturday...wish me luck.,

Hi Scott,

I just wish that NEAF was around the time of Stellafane, then I could attend both. We are just too far away to come just for that one event.

I will do Stellafane again in 2015, all going well, as last years Stellafane was so much fun; the most astronomical fun I have had in three days.

I am heading to Denver and then onto Cleveland this May, for two weeks, and would love to have come earlier to attend NEAF, but work wouldn't have been amused if I had asked for another eight weeks off, like I took last year.

Hope you have fun at NEAF Scott.

Cheers Pete

I enjoyed my day at NEAF and will try and post some poor quality photos later. I spent several hours as a volunteer with the club helping get folks signed in for the door prizes...there were a lot of people.

The show seemed to have more heavy duty equipment than last year with some monster mounts and scopes. I picked up a few beads and trinkets and a couple of t-shirts but nothing of great value. I was sorely tempted to buy a few TV eyepieces which were 20% off but was able too resist after realizing that I would need to expand my eyepiece case to get them to fit...there is always next year. I did not attend any of the lectures but heard they were really well attended. It was a fun day.

Okay, here are some very poor quality phone photos I took as I quickly walked the floor at NEAF...there were some pretty impressive pieces of hardware from some companies I was not familiar with as well as the old standards...it was fun to wander around.

Hopefully find pictures attached

Is there an easy way to add multiple pictures at once?
