M8 HaRRGB

Finally 1 or 2 nights with only intermittent thin cloud. Early in the season for me to take one of this target being as it only reached a good hight above light pollution and obstructions at 2 in the morning! Still coming to grips with the Rig and since building the Obs I am starting to get more shots in. The not having to constantly set the gear up is fantastic.

GSO 12" F4 with ASA Wynne corrector 0.95, Atik 11000, guiding with Starshoot auto guider Ha 50, R15,G15,B15, Acquired with MaximDL , processed with CCDStack StarTools and PS6.

Thanks Mike, I'm happy with the overall colour but I'm still scratching my head on the stars. I'm trying out StarTools at the moment and I wasn't happy with the blend back with the Ha and the RGB. StarTools has a repair feature that i applied to the star and I might have 'grown' the cores a bit too much. I'm back on nights for this next week so I don't have the time at present to Repro the stars. It's something that I'll have to experiment a bit with to get it right. Any suggestions are gratefully received!

All the best

Paul
