M16 HaRRGB Crop

Bit of an effort at M16. Processing is a challenge with very bright and Very dark areas. This is a middle crop of a wide field I have tried to bring out the dim dust fields that I could see in the Ha data (also included).

Usual equipment GSO F4 Newt with ASA Wynne corrector (F3.6)

90 Mins of Ha and 20 Mins each of RGB

Thanks for looking

All the best

Paul

Lots of signal there Paul, good work Im also seeing a slight to moderate blue colour in the background sky tho, could be your tastes, and thats fine Grouse amount of outer dust which could probably handle some more processing, giving some extra punch, but only my opinion.
Nice capturing and a mighty fine photo

Thanks Bob,

As is the way I know that I'll be fiddling a bit to get the colours right but I did do a version with a push to the dust but I need to do it as a multi layer to avoid blowing the core section of the neb.. I just didn't have time today.

all the best

Paul
