Where to get teeth gears?

Anyone know a shop where I can get some gears with teeth on them?

I have tried Bunnings but they sell nothing like this.

Any place in Melbourne.

Thanks!

Hi Stephan,

Could you give more detail? What diameter are these spur gears, and what material? Also, what bore diameter for the shaft is needed?

The diagrams shows standard nomenclature for a straight spur gear pair, but more info is needed.

Cheers

That was just a random photo off the internet.

This is for a focuser knob on my telescope.

I saw this guy do something similar but with an O ring. Where he has the O ring I want to replace it with gears. Something like this but with gears.

Thanks!

Hobby parts and Smallparts are the same, and yes their stock is SDP stuff, but they've never had stock of what I need so I've always gone to SDP direct, cheaper, quicker and freight has never been more than $20
