1 rpm 12v DC motors?

Hi,

Looking for a 1 rpm 12v DC motor for a home made tracking mount.
Used to buy them from mechtrics, but they don't seem to have them anymore.
Anyone know another place to get one?

Cheers,

Justin.

All else fails you could probably make a Cheapish Stepper Controlled Circuit that will do 1RPM.. The Arduino (or compatible) and Easy Driver boards and a Stepper Motor will do that.

Thanks Andrew!

Yep, for a barn door tracker, a compact travel version I made earlier this year.

Justin when I was looking for one of those, many years ago, it was nearly impossible to buy, however I had 2 made, from a place called Mc Knights Electrical and Motor Winders.

Although this place doesn't exist anymore, those were the places that were most helpful and knew what you wanted.

I know this is probably not much help at the moment, but one can get them, although it may take some time to find out where.
