Moon and Earth shine

Just some quick pics from tonight, a single 8 second frame, ISO 200, from an ED80 @ F5.5, Pentax K-x all on an old Tasco EQ2 with a single axis drive.

Thanks Dave. Yeah practicing for a total lunar eclipse but I think the sky will be too bright for the one this April.

Have been playing around with a second hand Meade Star Navigator 102 for some moon shots. Single frames only, with Earthshine 4 seconds at ISO 400, cloud at lower left for special effect. And 1/60 sec at ISO 200 for the crescent, both at prime focus. The focal length of this thing is 800mm at F8 roughly.
