A Pot of Gold

Another panorama taken a few weeks ago in the Riverina, this time heading north west of Wagga. It was a slight technical error on my behalf, because of course as soon as I pointed my camera towards the east, low and behold all of Wagga's light pollution was there waiting to be captured. Despite all the light pollution it's still pretty dark in the big scheme of things. No idea what the blue beams in the middle were?

Thanks for looking

Nice work, despite the light pollution. My guess on the blue beams would be a car/truck turning from one way to the other or maybe a building with spot lights on each side of the building

Nice one Carlos. You're controlling the distortion nicely. Can I ask what projection you're using?

Ah yes. I am very much familiar with the light dome from Wagga. Not sure about those bluer beams though as I have never shot that side of the city so I can't tell you if they are permanent or not. Nice work mate. You will have to sing out next time you are down this way and we might be able to go shooting stars together.

Thanks Matt it's a 12 frame panorama and those lights didn't move. They're just outside of Wagga. Kinda like how it looks like a big projector beaming the Milky Way and Magellanic clouds across the sky.

Thank you very much Colin I've been paying more attention to that detail of late. Continually learning and tweeking processing methods. I'm using a 15mm f/f2.8 Carl Zeiss lens. Previously I used a 16-35mm f/2.8 L Canon.

Hey Greg! Thank you Funny that, I'm heading back down this weekend for 2 days, I'll be up Saturday morning and heading back Sunday night. I'll send you a PM with details and maybe we can catch up.
