Ha Solar Midrift Mosaic 19th March

I did a morning and afternoon H-Alpha session yesterday. This image from the morning session is four panel mosaic across the main areas of current solar activity.

Image taken with the Lunt 80, DMK23U274 camera and 2.5X Powermate.

The resolution limits of the forum means the embedded image is a highly compressed small version. If you want to get an eyeful at a higher resolution, go to the supplied Flickr link. Thanks for looking.

Lovely tendrils of filaments etc, and the field definitions around the sunspots is a treat
