PHD2 and Win XP Pro

Hi,

Is anyone using PHD2 and Windows XP Pro?

I just downloaded PHD2 v2.2.2 and installed it on the OBS notebook and here in the house and when I try to run it I get an windows error message saying " PHD2.exe is not a valid Win32 application".

Is it only for 64 bit architecture?

Regards
Bill

Bill, it looks the 2.2.2 build is not compatible with XP. It won't run on my notebook either. I'll bring it to Andy's attention. It is likely that the change to using Visual Studio 2013 is the problem.

The last version I have that will run is 2.2.1. All the builds after that get the same error.

Bill, Andy has a test release of 2.2.2 which I've tried on XP with an Atik 16ic, ASI120MM and SSAG (with v4 drivers) and it appears to be OK.
The link is http://openphdguiding.org/PHD2-v2.2.2a-installer.exe
