Mars from Melb. 19th Mar UT

Hi all,

Mars from 3am Thursday morning in good seeing. I collected some more data over the following hour or so in slightly better seeing but I stupidly changed the gamma from 100% to 85% on the DMK and this data shows onion rings when I process it. It seems I should stick to 100% gamma on my DMK camera.

15 fps: 1min 45sec for R and G, 2min 45sec for blue.

Best regards,

Mark

Great capture Mark, considering. I didn't even bother with my set from 3AM as seeing was still quite variable. Shame about the gamma setting, Murphy never sleeps. There is a lot to be said about 'standard' camera setting, telescope setup, processing etc. I stuffed up my best Saturn set as camera got moved and I can't register color data.
