5" f/20 scope on Astromart. Tube is 10 feet long!

Yeah.... You should get to a point where you need to decide to either buy a triplet APO or a Mak-Cass if you want color correction and or long FL.

Judging by those pictures if you pointed towards zenith, you would be looking through the eyepiece while on your belly.

Whow, the CA should be almost non-existent at that length.
Agreed it needs a taller tripod but a pier in a proper obs might be better.

I want it. But doing the math, it is nearly twice as long as a 4" F/15 and I thought those were loooong
