Jupiter 23rd July

First capture at 7:20 (acst) with seeing about 4-5/10 2x barlow 1 ext. tube.

I didn't capture the second one until 7:50 (2x barlow 2 ext. tubes) due to the seeing falling away to a 1/10.

Both are fantastic images, Asi. Good image scale and a wealth of detail. Well done! We only had clouds over here at that time.

Love the first shot, and LOVE the new colours you're using. Very earthy browns. Great stuff!

2 of these!

Asimov you are the man when it comes to Joops,

With the seeing conditions we were confronted with last night, these are amazing, especially the first one. It really shows that you have a keen eye when it comes to detail, and have the processing skills to draw it out.

Very nice work ASI, I'm wondering what's going to happen when your old mate disappears below the horizon....

You'll find out all in good time Phil

Thanks guys. Just lucky with these captures...gotta be there when the seeing turns favorable thats all. I have 14 other AVI's that I've already previewed & deleted.

Edit: Before someone states 'the GRS doesn't move that far in 35 mins Asi ya drip!?' Yup, I got the time created info mixed up there somewhere he-hee!

Good work John

The second one looks a little blurry, no doubt from the deteriorated seeing conditions.

I'll resist the temptation to do a little reprocessing in AstraImage. Both look OK for colour
