The Chook in Hubble Palette

This is data from last year corrected for gradients with Pixinsight's DBE.

Large image 12MB

http://d1355990.i49.quadrahosting.co...Cent_NB_HP.jpg

This large image is x1.5 native pixel size. About 2" arc per pixel instead of 3.08" per pixel.

Here is a labelled image at native sensor pixel size 7MB

http://d1355990.i49.quadrahosting.co..._03/249052.jpg

The improvement in resolution is obvious by stacking upsized images.

It's the Flying Spaghetti Monster! Again! I'm seeing him way too much in the stars lately. It must be a sign...

This is a natural colour version 8MB

http://d1355990.i49.quadrahosting.co...LC_nb_ncol.jpg

A compressed file of the 16 bit unstretched narrow band data is here 43MB

http://d1355990.i49.quadrahosting.co..._03/NBdata.zip

It has the gradients removed with DBE and binned 71% so it is a tad bigger than the native sensor X1.06. i.e. 1.5/(sqroot of 2).

Thats pretty sharp Bert. Colour is a bit subjective (NB version) and the ring around the big star is a bit distracting though.
