Horse

Well, I really wanted about 6 hours of data for this baby but with just under 3 because of a full moon on the way, unforgiving skies and the fact it is closing in on the end of its season I though I would release my WIP for comments.
My guiding over the two nights was quite good for my old wedge drive I was able to get 2 minute subs at ISO800, darks, flats and bias to with the image, processed in DSS and touched up in PS. I have not tried my hand with to many of these dark red subjects due to the fact the slow old F10 makes it a little hard with my experience level. I think I may have over stretched.
Please give any feedback as when the skies clear I will be adding more data.
Thanks for looking

Hi again Carl; Nice image, but it seems rather dark, and to my
digitally inexperienced eye it looks from the appearance of the
stars that it has been slightly over sharpened. I would have to
use EP projection to get an image of that size.

Hey it's not bad Carl, I can see some detail in there. As you said getting late in the season though, could be a hard one to get.
Longer subs would be nice though.
Maybe I newer EQ Mount would help

Thanks for the feedback, I have come to the conclusion the ship may have sailed on this one, but there are always new ones on the horizon (pardon the pun).
Goran, ever the salesman yes longer subs on a lovely EQ mount would be wonderful, do you know of any going at a good price by any chance
