Tarantula last night

This picture was taken through SW 120ED using celestron nightscape ccd camera. 24x200 sec, bias, flats ,darks sensor temperature 0 degrees .

Hi Philip,

Long time no speakee.

As it happened, I was at the UWS Nepean Observatory last night, and I looked at the Tarantula as well. Unlike your excellent work, it was pretty sad, blown out by the moon and clouds.

Your image is very nice. I like the stars - the colour is very good. ANd the distinctive shape is well defined.
