Antares - the first of many to come I am sure!

Hi there all.

Been very quiet of late, what with the Atik 11000 being in UK getting repaired and fiddling with big scopes etc. Not to mention that bad weather...

BUT

The bad weather is now a thing of the past (for now)!

Still waiting on the camera..
So I got about 3 additional hours of data last night and added to some old data of the Rho and Antares region.

Pretty happy with the results.
This is another reprocess of this glorious image of space.
About 11 hours of data at various exposure times and ISO settings. All up about 105 light frames. All at 100mm taken on the Canon 600D
